Your Puget Sound Consumer Advocates
Wrongfully Fired. Illegally Evicted. Cheated by a Business. We Can Help.
Sound Point Legal represents Washington individuals and small businesses fighting back against corporations, employers, landlords, the government, and insurance companies. If you have been wronged, your story matters. Let us hear it.
Our Practice Areas

Consumer Protection
Washington’s Consumer Protection Act exists to hold businesses accountable when they engage in unfair or deceptive practices. If a company has cheated you, misled you, or treated you in a way that felt wrong, there may be a legal remedy available. In successful CPA cases, the law requires the defendant to pay your attorney fees separately, meaning you keep what you recover. Sound Point Legal handles CPA cases across a wide range of industries and business conduct.
Life Insurance / Accidental Death Benefit Claims
When a life insurance company denies or disputes a legitimate claim, it often happens at the worst possible moment, when families are grieving and least equipped to fight back. Sound Point Legal has personal and professional experience taking on major insurance carriers over wrongfully denied life insurance and accidental death benefit claims, including in federal court. If your claim has been denied or delayed, do not accept that answer without speaking to an attorney first.
Wrongful Termination / Employment
Losing a job is devastating, and when it happens unlawfully, you deserve more than a severance offer. Washington employees have strong protections against discriminatory, retaliatory, and otherwise unlawful termination. We have handled employment matters against some of the largest employers in the country. If you were fired and something about it felt wrong, we want to hear the details.
Insurance Bad Faith / Coverage Disputes
Insurance companies have legal obligations to handle claims fairly and in good faith. When they don’t, Washington law provides remedies. We handle bad faith denials, unreasonable delays, insurance coverage disputes, subrogation claims, and related matters across auto, health, property, and life insurance contexts. Our background in this area is extensive, built over years of litigation where insurance tactics were a daily reality.
Wrongful Eviction / Landlord-Tenant (RLTA)
Washington’s Residential Landlord-Tenant Act provides real protections for renters. If you were illegally evicted, had your deposit wrongfully withheld, or were subjected to uninhabitable conditions, you may have a claim. Attorney fees are available by statute in successful RLTA cases, meaning the landlord pays the legal bill, not you.
Public Records Act
Washington’s Public Records Act requires government agencies to respond to records requests promptly and completely. When they don’t, the law provides for attorney fees and daily penalties. PRA cases work best when a request has been outstanding for a significant period before an attorney gets involved. If you have an old, ignored, or improperly handled records request, we may be able to help.
Civil Rights / Government Misconduct
When a government entity or its employees violate your constitutional rights, federal law provides a path to accountability. These cases are complex and the liability standards are demanding, but they matter. We evaluate Section 1983 and Monell claims carefully and take them when the facts support it. If you believe a government agency or official has seriously violated your rights, we are willing to have that conversation.
Personal Injury
We have a deep background in personal injury litigation, including auto accidents, premises liability, and serious injury claims. While personal injury is not our primary focus at this time, we evaluate PI cases selectively, particularly those involving significant injuries, clear liability, and insurance coverage. If you have been seriously hurt through someone else’s negligence, we are happy to review your situation.
